More pictures of my cage setup

i gotta post pone when i get my cham, im going to florida this saturday so i must wait another week. or i could buy one while im down there so it'll cost less :)

Where in Florida are you going-big Reptile show in Tampa this week-I will help you pick out a nice one! :)

im going to jacksonville, with a few of my buddies, we might try and go to southern florida for a little bit. but im not sure if we will

The cage looks very nice, I like those plants, I really like anything that adds color to the cage.:)

BTW:

I dont want to rain on the parade, but did you repot those bad boys in organic soil? You just don't want you new cham munching on the bits of fertilizer and w/e else they put in them that could be a impaction/choking hazard. ;)

yup, i repoted everything to them. i cant keep the humidy to stay above 35% for more than an hr or so. i usualy load it down with water so it gets up to 70-80% so it'll last longer

Hi Daughty,

Good job for getting your set-up done before getting a chameleon.

One suggestion I have is to pick out all of the little white things (perlite/pumice) from the top layer of your plant's soil and then put a layer of something over the top, such as rocks, peatmoss, or something that is too big to pick up with the chameleon's tongue.

HEYO! looks great to me, i really like that big Brom you got in there( whered you get that), i love tropical plants in vivs. have you been monitoring temps throughtout the cage? did you make that little ladder? anyways looks really good and good luck and take some pics when you get your cham!

umm ya, i poutting big river rocks as the top layer of the plants, and no i bought the ladder at petco, and i bought the bromelaids at a local plant nursery where i live. they have alot of different house plants to choose from there. so i figured i'd buy a few different ones so i could swap out plants from time to to. and yes i've had a steady temp from 74-82 inside he cage. i also have a little heater for my entire room so incase the room gets too cold i can heat it up some. im also makin my own dropper out of a 21 quart trash can, some clear 3/8 hose and some plastic tee's for varios areas for the dropper to drop water in the cage.

I still need to know what a stead huminty needs to be for insdie the cage so im not over doing it.
