So I picked up my woodlice colony again and I am finding dozens of these white worms that now since I bought my camera I can show for the first time... harmless nematoads... or what the hell are they... Please I need to know if my colony is useless before I begin poisoning my chams... Advice?

Hey. nematodes are arguably microscopic. The first time i found an infestation of these "worms" you are referring to that is what i thought they were also. Now i believe they are perhaps a larva stage of a very small fly. Is your plant dying? Or loosing leaves near its base?

Ooh do Chams eat woodlice then? I have LOTs of wood lice in the garden and a veiled Cham girl who coiudl do with a bit more variety..

They range from an inch long to 3 inches long... There are no plants thats why I'm worried... No roots no nothing just the same gut loading items I put in my crickets and dubia colonies... The only difference is the soil...

I would scrap that colony and start over. But I'm paranoid like that. It could possibly be some sort of parasite that could infect you. You may be able to send them to your local zoo for identification.

OKay yea wayy bigger than nematodes. And they aren't what i was thinking either, i actually can't think of what they could be. But i know someone who might know so i will ask them today and write you after. I reread your initial post, good that they aren't in your cage but i would be skeptical about feeding them to your cham until you know what they are.

i might not be right, but to me they look simular to the worms that i got in my fish tank.

they look very simular and they only got to an inch long before i eradicated them.

from what i found they came from the food, and since you have been using gut loading products and diffrent things like that for the woodlice, they could have come in from there. i could be wrong though.

but to be on the safe side, i'd rescue as many woodlice and start over. you could also microwave the soil to kill any worms.
