hey i picked one up and was wondering if putting it on a timer will mess it up? anybody have any ideas?

You should have no problems putting it on a timer

i currently run mine on a timer and its a way better idea for me the 2 mins max that the unit goes off for was not enough for me, so i set a secondary timer for 5 min interval so the unit goes off twice so i get a 4 mins misting session

so if i put it on a timer to come on when the lights do, run its cycle throughout the day, then turn off with the lights do that should be ok?

I've just set mine up like that, when my light comes on my monsoon comes then it works all day on its timed intervals then goes off when the lights do

I do the same without any problems!

yeah, I have mine set to the timer that my lights are on.. so when my lights turn on the mister goes off for 30 seconds and 3 more times through out the day til' the lights turn back off..
