Monsoon Mister not spraying

I know what everybody is going to say, and I want to get a Mistking, but I don't have the money for it at the moment. My girlfriend got me the Monsoon as a birthday gift a while back, and it actually worked great for the longest time. The timer hasn't had any problems, but the misters haven't been "misting" at all. I'm not sure if the pumping unit isn't pushing enough pressure, or possibly the nozzles have become clogged in some way. I replaced the black line with black fish tank air line from Petsmart. I thought maybe the interior diameter of the replacement line was too big not allowing build up of enough pressure, but it had been working perfectly the past couple of months so I narrowed that one down. By the way, I replaced the line because it seemed to get a lot of pin prick holes when I moved my set up. I'm wondering if the t valve heads that Mistking sales would work with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been misting constantly with my pump mister in the mean time, especially since my reptifogger went out AGAIN after I replaced the fan just two months ago. Oh well, I just got an Ambilobe that I can't get enough one on one time with anyways.

Do you use filtered water or tap water? Sounds like clogged nozzles. Try replacing them if you are using tap water.

I had a terrible time with my Monsoon and just hooked up a Mist King this weekend. When you have the money, go for the MistKing, it is head and shoulders above the Monsoon (as you have heard).

I've always used distilled water. I had a similar problem when I first installed ur, but I jut switched out some of the replace my nozzle and it worked fine. Now I have no more to try, at least none that I haven't yet. Is there maybe something safe I can soak the heads in to remove the clog?

Maybe vinegar will work if you soak them in it. I know it gets water spots off glass easy but not sure about plastic or if it will unclog a nozzle.

Vinegar made it for me. Once in a while I soak the nozzles overnight in vinegar, diluted with water (ratio of 1:5). I think pure vinegar might be too aggressive on the plastic.

One of the sprayers seemed to work a bit better today. So along with it raining outside and not giving me a good reason to take out Zeus, I decided to wait until tomorrow. I'll let y'all know how it works.

i cant seem to get a simple answer off of google. Whats the difference between filtered, distilled water?

I think the difference is like this: Filtered water removes some of the chemicals within water like chlorine, metals etc., but maintains minerals like carbon, salts etc. Distilled water removes basically every other substance. I is fully purified H2O.

Vinegar, lemon juice, anything citrusy or slightly acidic works.

Tap water has heavy metals and minerals along with chlorine and other cleaning chemicals. Some even have fluoride. Distilled water has been steamed so that the pure water escapes as a gas to leave the heavier impurities seperate. The steam gas is then recaptured has pure H2O. I've been having a nice Saturday cleaning since LSU is play Towsend/ waste of time. I was waiting for a nice sunny day to take Zeus out while I mess with his mister, but I guess he'll have to suck it up for a couple of seconds. I reallllllly want my mister working again. I hate having to mess with him constantly spraying him. Plus I think he's starting to have something again the guy who keeps spraying him in the face.
