I will fix the branches as soon as he is more settled in. I don't want to stress him out too much by moving stuff arounf (good idea?). I was having trouble getting the bracnhes to stay where I want them, I guess I will try using small wire or saftey pins to hold them in place.
Thanks for the nice comments

i use the small black plastic zip ties that walmart sells. you can get a big tube with several different sizes and i use the small ones to hold the vines in place i prefer the black ones cause they blend in with the screen your on a good way with your cham already. make sure you take weekly pics cause they can grow up fast!!!![]()
I have a tube of different sized zip ties, but not sure what else inside the cage that I could secure them to. I will figure something out though![]()
just do tie them to the screen I got a thread up in the enclosures i think its on the second page titled 2 new set ups i just circle them around the plant and once through it. just a quite bit of advice if and when you take out your cham when you put him back into his enclosure let the guy go on the ground so that way he can climb his own way back up to his favorite perches. I've had a couple times where i tried to let them back in their houses on the vines and they got to excited and took a fall. baby bones are fragile and they can break easily so better safe then sorry!!!![]()
Oh wow - I can't believe I never saw a photo of a baby Jacksons until now! I wanted one before (because I want to keep every kind of chameleon I see), but Triceratops was always my favourite dinosaur - I have to get a baby Jacksons at some point!
Hello,
concratulations, taht guy is really cute. You should increase the distance of the bulb, otherwise he might burn his feet while climbing at the fly-screen. What kind of bulb do you use?
You should also put more branches inside, especially horizontal ones because Chameleons like them the most, which should be very thin as he has very small feet at this age.
You may use fishing line to keep the branches and vines in place, it is very cheap and works perfectly, but you need to make sure that the branches/vines can not turn upside down as the chameleon walks across them.
Please excuse my bad english as i´m german
