Mites

Looking for any information on Mites. Somebody asked me the other day and I had no idea.

what do you want to know about them? I saw a utube video where there was girl who was supposed to a chameleon "expert" She claimed that chameleons were prone to getting them and to check their armpits as that is where they would most likely be found. Now I have never heard of this. It could be possible but I don't recall anyone on here with a chameleon that had mites. Mites in the cage on the plants, yes but not on the chameleon. If this is wrong info then someone please correct me. Thank you.

There was a little sharp mark on my veiled, which was like a sharp piece of skin or whatever because he is doing a full shed today. My fiance yesterday was like "oh no that's a mite", clearly he was wrong lol but now my curosity is sparked

I'm no stranger to snake mites, but chameleons have never really struck me as mite prone animals. With that said I've never dealt with mites when it comes to my other lizards.
