mistking users help? trouble shooting

I am hooking up my system but i am running into problems with the collets. how deep and firm do you press the tubing in, because it seems that my collets are not loose, but somewhat go in and out, thus water is coming out from them and not even going into the nozzles. my reservoir is leaking water like crazy when the collets are slightly pulled out, the tubing is (i believe) in all the way. i dont want to force anything. can any mistking users help me out? im going to have to extend lights off to finish this. my room is wet and a mess.

on a brighter note, my pump is super silent

they require a strong push to go in, there is nothing that will break if pushed hard. make sure that any cuts made in the tube are square.

did you have this problem mike? all my cuts are squared. i used the knife thingy that came with iy

Been there done that. I found it works great when put together well. I am a weakling and a sissy. Glad you have it going.
