Mistking questions

So, i got Mistking as an early xmas present from my boyfriend. I opened the box and instantly felt really stupid. The most sophisticated engineering task I had to do recently is fixing my xbox by smacking it:)
First of all, do I really need a power drill? I don't think I even know anyone who owns a power drill. Also, what kind of water container do yous use? And how big is it supposed to be for 3 chameleons?
Also any general tip on installation will be appreciated. I really need to get it sorted before xmas as we are going away for 3 days.

I use a 5 gallon bucket from home depot. The mist king website has very clear step by step instructions with pictures. I'm pretty sure you need the drill for the bucket.

Lol, it happens!

You can get a 5gallon bucket from Home Depot or, Lowes. You will have to make a hole like 3 inches from the bottom so you can connect the hose. A drill will make it easy, but you could use anything... be careful.
After that, its just following directions.
Also, purchase a top for the bucket to cover the lid. Make sure to keep the bucket in a place where light can't get to it.

O.K., congrats on the new gift! The standard bucket is a 5 gallon painters type from any hardware store (Home Depot or Lowes also have them) and you could use a smaller one if you don't have the space. You will need to drill a hole about an inch from the bottom (9/16" drill bit) for the bulkhead. I have seen some who have just placed the tube in the bottom of the bucket and made sure that it stays submerged, so this could be an option. You would have to leave the bucket uncovered if you choose this option. If you do drill the hole and install the bulkhead, make sure not to over-tighten the nut. It can strip easily. For the tubing, you will have to push the tubes in completely, and then gently pull them out to "seat" them. If you do not do this, you may have a rain shower installed instead of a misting system . I suggest having a few towels ready for quick clean-up just in case. You should prime the pump to get any air out before you attach the misting nozzles. Air will make the pump louder and cause the tubes to rattle. Any noise you hear will most likely be the tubes hitting the enclosure or bucket. Use clips to secure and the noise should go away. Also, the pump should come with rubber feet that will minimize shaking. Good luck and hope this helps! ;)

Thanks everyone! Now it makes more sense=) I'll go for a bucket with a lid I think.
Plan for tomorrow:
1. buy a bucket
2. find a power drill
3. try to figure out how it all works

I have another question though. What is the average timer setting for veileds? Getting a panther for birthday in January.. so something which would accommodate all of them
