MistKing Question..

Hey guys, I just hooked up my mistking and I was wondering what timings for sprays and intervals I should set. I have one 3.5 month old red-barred ambilobe.

my is set to go off a few mins after the lights turn on( the mistking is then on for 5 mins) then every two hours for a minute and a half, and an hour before lights go off for about 2 mins.

I'm in new jersey, wehre humidity is almost non-existent! what do you think my misting settings should be at?

If you don't have a dripper I would say 3x a day for 3 min would be sufficient.

Just space it out correctly like an hour or two after the lights go on, then in the middle of the day, then a couple hours before lights off.


edit: you might want to also look into a cool mist humidifier

why do you need a fogger?? you all ready have a mistking

i just realized it was a humidifier....lol

No one can tell you exactly what the settings should be for your particular home. On a day when you are home, run some test cycles of hand spraying, Mist King cycles, or whatever, and use your hygrometer to record how long it takes to get too dry. This way you'll know what your particular cage will need.
