I have mine set for 4-2-minute cycles starting @ 10:30 AM and off at 3:30 PM. That gives my enclosure enough time to dry out before Rango heads for his bed.

I think the number of cycles and the time of each cycle totally depends on the type of Cham you get and the humidity you maintain throughout the day. This will greatly vary from State to State I am sure!

Even Florida, with an AC on can dry out the air quickly in an enclosure.

Go for live plants (that helps maintain the humidity) and you may even have to add a side or rear plastic curtain to maintain it.

Luckily, I didn't for my Panther.
