MistKing Aesthetic

Hello!
I've heard really good things about the MistKing and I am planning on getting one but I do have a few questions about it's looks.
I live with my folks right now and my dad has two rules about my reptiles. I can't have anything that can escape and kill him in the night, and the enclosures have to look nice/pretty. I've been looking at the MistKing and while the tubing should not be a problem I'm worried about how the reservoir will look. The pictures I've seen look rather industrial.
To put it into context I have a Zoo Med Skyscraper Terrarium 18 x 18 x 36 with live plants and trees. My Veiled loves it but it is a pain in the butt to keep spraying every few hours. I need an automatic mister ASAP. There are several other misters that are cheaper and look nicer but I've heard tales of leaking and flooding and I don't have the time or the desire to have those issues. I know it is a silly thing to be concerned about but how did y'all set yours up? Does it look nice? Will my Art Major Dad be happy with it?
Here's a picture of the terrarium...and the only picture of Kodak I've been able to get since moving her to her new enclosure 26815183_1776129989076766_6936960755259442189_n.jpg 26903882_1776130069076758_4245141458535890769_n.jpg

The inside looks really pretty, but are you using a compact fluorescent bulb? If so, you need to get rid of it and replace it with a linear tube fluorescent UVB.

Also, that cage has a screen top, right? I hope so, but it is hard to tell from this angle. If it is glass-topped, then any UV light you use is going to be ineffective because UVB cannot penetrate glass

RE: your actual question - basins rarely look nice unless you can find an aesthetically pleasing bucket lol. If your parents are concerned, the best thing to do is position it out of sight so it isn't an eyesore.

It looks like you have substrate at the bottom and it also seems this is not a Bio-Active so id remove the substrate. Do a search on it and youll see why(y)

My two buckets are in a custom cabinet that I built. If you don't have room under the enclosure you can try to use a sheet to shield them from view. The main issue I see is that the terrarium has no drainage (that I can see). You have to be extremely careful not to allow the enclosure to get too wet. Also, having glass on all sides and using an automated misting system you may have issues with water droplets forming on the glass and obstructing the view, and even leaving water spots after it dries.
