misting?

in all of the care sheets out there it says to mist with warm water,so my question is for all of you that use a misting system how do you warm the water ?

i used hydor inline heater.
The water will pass through the heater before reached the cage warming up the water.

It depends on the species and theage of the cham. Little Melleri babies should be misted in the morning with warm (hot in the bottle or misting system) to stimulate drinking. Older chams that have proper heat lamps to bask in can handle cooler mist. I think in general warmer is better because chams operate around 75-100 degrees during the day.... who wants to get blasted with water that feels like 50-60 degrees?

For my dripper system I have a aquarium heater next to the submersible pump in the rubber maid container reservoir.

You can... but what is important to remember is that when misting, the atomization of the water causes the temp to drop. Plus you have cooling of the water as it passes through the tubing on its way to the misting nozzle. The heat dissipation you are trying to defeat would require a lot of heat. I run HOT tap water to my tank first thing in the morning and the mist is 'warm' as in... not cold. I can't imagine an aquarium heater generating enough heat to create a warm mist. In my research a water temp at the the nozzle of 130 degrees will create a mist in the range of 80-90 degrees.

Could you post a pic? I can't quite figure that one out. It's probably a simple thing but lack of coffee has impaired brain cells and I'm missing something.
