Misting system

Hey everyone got a question whats the best most reliable misting system I had the monsoon it sucks it just keeps misting and I've had 5 of them

Do you have a link I can go to I have a really big cage and spray but I need something to help regulate the humidity

I also have a mist king, and love it. They are a sponsor of this site, there's a link under the sponsors section. Mine has 2 nozzles, and easily keeps the humidity where I want it, above 80%, in my 10x10x8 free range room.

Is setup easy I have 6'h 4'w 2'd aluminum screen cage and I don't won't to many holes in it because my Cham tried holding on to the nozzles on my old monsoon and made bigger holes and crickets were getting out and how many nozzles do you recommend for my size cage I have a lot of plants and foliage in there

I have an aquazamp-
http://www.aquazamp.com - like it a lot I had a monsoon- I feel your pain
If you contact either mistking or aquazamp they are both great on getting back to you and helping with what you need- I couldn't decide between the two when my monsoon kicked the bucket - I finally e-mailed both and got the one that replied back first- aquazamp won by a day but mist-king apoligized for the late reply (I felt bad it wasn't late at all) but I love my rain dome- I have just the mister on one cage and a rain dome on the other - you can run multiples for coverage on a large cage - i think up to 10 nozzles with the cheaper one) I'm going get another dome add on when my little one moves to her bigger cage in the next few months) I hate to be a shill for the site sponsors but LLL Reptile is having "Cyber Monday" sale and they sell MistKings- I don't know if they are on sale but I would check them out.
They both have corner wedges that you can use so as not to make big holes- the rain dome sits on top and rains through the screen-

If I got the mistking with one nozzle (keep in mind this is mainly for humidity control I have a dripper my Cham drinks from) how wide is the coverage when it mist

I have both systems, and prefer the Aquazamp. It was easier, in my opinion, to set up, and I really like the rain dome. I bought a 2nd rain dome to use on my Mistaking. The only reason I needed two systems, is that I couldn't set my cages up, side by side. Didn't have enough room. Thery're both good systems, and have good customer service.

I have an aquazamp rain dome and my Cham loves it. I had a normal misting system and the aquazamp does a better job mimicking a rain forest environment . After all, this is the primary goal. IMHO

We'll the tube on my dripper came out of the little hole I made for it and the water just made a puddle on the top of the screen it didn't go through its a custom built cage and I used aluminum screen

I use the timer that I got when my Monsoon's timer broke -(less than a month after I bought it) it works fine with my Aquazamp- I don't have a problem with puddles - but I have the zipper front cages - my dripper puddles a small bit -
You can't go wrong with either system-

The one difference I noticed between the mistking and aquazamp is that the aquazamp seems to be able to support more misting nozzles than the mistking. I too have the monsoon and am on my third unit! They really suck. I wish I had found this forum before I bought it. The customer service for the monsoon seems OK but I asked for my money back and they still sent a new unit:mad: rather than a refund. I have a timer that regulates the lights and so forth but if it breaks again I am going to buy one of those seconds timers until I can get an aquazamp. I want to get a new lighting system first, then the new misting system. Although I have my enclosures about eight feet apart and the monsoon does OK misting both of them without an apparent loss of pressure across the distance between cages. Just an FYI instead of buying the expensive connectors from monsoon, I searched for raindrip, rainbird or orbit on amazon and got the connectors for those irrigation systems 1/4 inch hoses.

The mist king can run 10 nozzles per pump. I've never ran more than two off of mine, but they do spray a nice fine mist. I have the pro nozzles. You can also get clear line & 1/4" white fittings at lowes. The clear line may grow algae in it if exposed to light though.
