misting question

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with there water in there misting system getting stagnant? To make sure this doesnt happen, have you haerd of anyone putting a internal filter in there bucket to keep the water moving in the bucket? Any advice or ideas would be great. Im worried that if i fill the bucket up and it sits for a period of time will the water become stagnant?

I haven't had any problem with stagnant water. However use dark tubing to prevent algae.

Also I know I go through about a gallon and half a day. So that's all I put in the reservoir then I clean it and refill it!

How long the water sits will affect this a lot as will the amount of organics in your water source and the temperature of the room. If your misting system goes off multiple times every day and draws the reservoir down regularly, I doubt you'll have a problem. When you get it up and running the way you want and see how much of the reservoir water gets used each day, you can fill it just enough to get through a day...leaving less water sitting for a longer time. Leave enough so your pump doesn't happen to run dry. Keeping the reservoir clean will help too. Periodically give it a good scrub down with hot water.
