Misting pump lacking pressure.

Hi
I have a ENT power pump which from the outside looks identical to a mistking system I previously owned. It had been working fine but it has now stopped working. It turns on and runs as it should but there seems to be no were near enough pressure. It ran for a while without water so I'm wondering if this has caused it to burn out.
I can't find any info on them (in English!)
Are they easy enough to fix or will it need to be replaced?

Any help appreciated.

Joel

Hi Joel. Did you try priming the pump? Sometimes if you run them without water you have to reprime the pump. To do this, disconnect the tubing from the misthead, and hold the tubing over a bucket, turn on the pump for 30 seconds or so, until water comes out of the tube. Then reconnect it to your misthead. Try this and that should let you know if the pump is bad or not.

Just reread what you wrote. I bet your misting head is plugged, if some water is coming out.

Thanks for you reply. The problem is with the pump for sure.
I have put my finger over the inlet side of the pump and there is barely any pressure at all. I have tried priming it but it's not able to suck up any water at all
