hi, I would really rather not pay 40 dollars for 3 small nozzles shipped from mist king... does anyone have any knock offs they use as good misters? I can't find anything at home depot and am at a loss. Please help

I buy the patio misters that you can get at Home Depot.....just buy a timer and your set.....of course your gonna have to have a hose coming from the outside if your cages are inside.....

I'm a patio mister person as well. For indoor use you can purchase an adaptor for your tap very inexpensively at the hardware store (probably less than $2). At the end of the spout on your faucet, you will see a small screen that the water runs through. This unscrews and you just replace it with the adaptor which will have threads for a hose hookup.

For the money the Mist King is one of the best investments you could make.

The Ultimate Value System (which is what I have) comes with 3 nozzles and alot of tubing. That is 189.99 and if you look around you might be able to get free shipping.

Benefits:
  • Reliable
  • Easy to install
  • Supports up to 10 cages (with the Starter Misting Sytem pump)
  • Supports up to 20 cages (with the Ultimate Value Misting System pump)
  • Supports up to 70 cages (with the Advanced Misting System pump)

aquazamp is in california you could pay the cheapest shipping and get them next day.

aquazamp.com I use them and love them.

how many cages do you have?
what humidity conditions does your chameleon need?

answer these questions truthfully and than decide if you even need a misting system. if it turns out that its not a nessesity at this point than just go with one of these until finances allow you to get all that you need.

i dont know your whole situation right now, but newer keepers tend to spend more and a lot on things they could do without with a little bit of dedication. that money should be kept and saved for future needs and emergencies. JMHO
