So i am currently looking at a few different options as far as misting machines and foggers go. Where i am at now is that i am looking at a zoo med habba mister and zoo med fogger. I looked at them in action a few times and havent heard anything too bad, and have found them for decent prices online. I want to know what anyone else thinks as far as these products go, i know the hobby isnt cheap going into it but if i can help saving a little money here and there i am good for it haha! :) any and all feedback is appreciated!

Thanks,

Zack

If you are getting into Madagascan chams then I would go for a Mistking without the fogged initially.

Well as of right now i want to get a couple of chameleons that i can work with for awhile and maybe attempt some breeding! i was really thinking about getting a couple veileds, since thats what i had last time. Or maybe panthers, i just havent completely decided

Instead of spending $50-60 on a has a mister spend an extra $40 and go with the mist king or aqauzamp. With more than one Cham both are also expandable for more misting heads.

I only say this as I spend well over $100 trying to do a DIY which probably would be fine to keep using but i have never been very happy with it and now just purchased a mist king. So I could have saved myself the headache, time and $100 greenbacks...

Honestly, The only reason I chose the mist king was it ended up being about a tad cheaper. The mistking comes with the timer, you have to buy it separate with aquazamp BUTwith that said aquazamp is also highly recommended. I could have gone either way but since I had already spent so much on trying to do it myself I did not want to put anymore into it than I needed to.

I think aquazamp is actually running a special right now though,
I have sent emails to both places and both have been super helpful and answered any questions I had. I would not hesitate to buy from either place.

I have two aquazamp domes. They work perfectly! They give off such a fine mist along with the dopelits of water that chams love to drink. Either way you go zamp or mist king, I have only herd good from both products. Also with the zamp the spray only hoes where the dome is set. I have seen some cool diy raindomes. Either way is still worth the money for sure.

thanks for the feedback! yeah, i will have to look into both! I will really be in luck if i can find someone looking to part with an extra set up or something haha!

Lol...good luck, in the few months I have been active on this forum, I have yet to see a quality mister for sale.

hahaha i know right? Well at least i didnt throw money into a DIY set up, because i would more than likely be in your boat of not being 100% satisfied. I will just drop the hundo or couple hundos on a legit set up.

Aquazamp is legit. I have one with the raindome and you just can't go wrong. Drop the cash on one and call it done! :)

Its worth it! And I know that either systems can have more then one nozzle. I was sceptical because of the ammount of money, but I don't regret a thing!

Yeah, i think its looking like i am gonna go through aqua zamp and call it done! especially with that fat deal going on. Its kinda hard to turn that down aha!

You won't be sorry, i say that and I have not even got mine hooked up yet.
but have read nothing but positive feedback from both products.

Right on! i can't wait to get all my gear and start setting up my reptile room hahaha! My girlfriend thinks im such a NEEERRRDDDD. hahahaha

Haba mister is a total piece of crap if you have to cheap out get a repti rain but i would also say mist king starter kit would be good. Also if you can find a hydro ponics store you can build one for the same price as a mist king if not make a better one.

Buy an ultra-sonic humidifier from Walgreens. Rig it up to work. Cheaper and better quality than the zoo med rip-off.

Both AquaZamp and Mistking use similar plumbing (1/4" line) and nozzles. The only difference may be the pump(no problems to speak of with my Mistking pump).A Raindome is just common nozzles under a plastic shoebox. Just like with light fixtures and many other supplies, A little ingenuity can save you big bucks. For me the deciding factor was customer service and availability, where Mistking exceeds expectations.
