Thanks so much! I'm just learning how to use the forum so please bear with me. I am building him a custom cage out of an old piece of furniture (its going to be so cool) and looking for a larger open mesh since his existing one is pulling out his nails. Do you have any suggestions on where to find it?

You might try looking at the plastic hardware netting, 1x1" plastic mesh found at HD or Lowes. Just wire it in, or zip tie. You cham will climb up this in lieu of the screen and will save his claws.

You put it up on the inside of the screen. That way you can keep feeders in and your cham climbs the plastic netting, not the screen.
