well the vet xrayed him today as his leg/foot is still sore, pleased to announce no breaks:D
they still think its an infection from the sore on his foot so are carrying on the antibiotics.
As the xray shows his skeleton is perfect:D

Glad to hear that nothing is broke. Hope that the infection will clear up quickly and that Mista will have a full recovery.

A suggestion in case you haven't thought of it:

To avoid re-infecting his foot, scrub down all his perches and branches with a hot water/bleach solution just in case there are molds or bacteria that might have caused the original infection. Foot pad infections can be very stubborn, so keep an eye on it for quite a while after the meds are finished. Dabbing some Polysporin ointment on the sole of his foot will help protect it while it heals also.

thanks for that info...especially as i cant work out exactly where he has hurt himself.i have watched his routes closely and checked for anything sharp,it's so frustrating not to be able to find anything

thanks Shaboo.
we think we have narrowed the culprit to be the leaves on his dragon tree,I caught him gripping them to scoot across to his vine. The width of the leaves are the same distance as the (look like paper cuts)sores on his foot.
He is still on his antibiotics and also an anti inflamatory and he is slowly starting to use his foot again.
It's been so sad to watch him hop around.
I've cut all the leaves off the plant now so hopefully the problem will continue to improve.
