Mist Temp.

Hey guys im new, just got my Blue Bar Ambilobe Panther TODAY!!!! from screameleons!!! he is 3 months old and is already eating right out of my hand!!!
here is a picture right when i opened the package...he looks a little scared

When misting the cage how much does your temp drop?

Mine usually drops 5-7 degrees and whe water in my sprayer is almost BURNING hot before i put it in. I accidently used cold water once and it dropped about 10 or more.

What a handsome little guy!!!! Lots of color for a 3 month old. I use very warm water for misting. It cools down allot before it gets to your cham. Congrats on your new cham!

The temp will always drop when misting. Don't worry bout it though it will rise back up quickly. I do reccommend putting hot in your hand mister (chams like it better) I just got my 1st cham from screameleons as well. My lil guys sire is supernova whoes yours?

Welcome to the forum, nice boy you have there. As long as the temp was ok when you started to spray with warm to hot water the temp drop isn't a problem, it will come back up & if the cham is cold he will go bask to warm up.
