Mist King zip drip

Can anyone tell me if the zip drip is necessary? It adds about an extra $30 and I just want to know if it is really necessary? would you recommend this?

M system from Marty doesn't have it, so my nozzles drip for a 1/2 a minute or so, and some of my Chams drink from the drip before the mist starts up. So, you get a mister/dripper system!

Thanks nick barta, I figured it wouldn't really matter if it drips, probably be a good thing? Glad I didn't waste 30 bucks.

I think excess dripping after the system shuts off is more an issue for closed in vivaria (i.e. dart frog tanks) that would be severely waterlogged from the drips. If you have a good drainage system for your chams, it would be a bonus to have the drips rather than a burden, because like Nick said, more opportunity to drink! I don't think the zip drip add on is at all necessary for a cham system. Some people might like it better, though, because it looks "cleaner" to have the system just shut off completely and not drip after a cycle.
