Minor injury

Today while my chameleon was out getting some sun, he got his stuck between two branches. When I got him out I noticed he had scraped some skin off of his veil. Not a big scratch at all. Is there anything I need to put on it or should I let it heal naturally?

Very low dose iodine watered down. Apply once to clean it then a polypsporn ointment will heal it up. Very thin coat

That's been brewing for longer than a day. There is granulation tissue at the edges of the wound (that ridge of skin), which takes several days to form. I suspect the top of his casque might have been burned by his heat lamp and then the dead skin rubbed off on a branch yesterday because it was already damaged. Keep it clean and put neosporin on it twice a day and take him to the vet if it starts to look worse or has discharge.

water down some triple antibiotic ointment...clean with some saline water first thin coat of ointment and by the next shed vuwalla !!

Thanks everyones help. I cleaned and applied Neosporin last night before his lights went out. He was quite feisty, and put on one heck of a show haha.
