Current Problem - right when timer shut off lights i heard an odd sound, minion had fallen from basking spot to cage floor, i let him climb on my hand, his grip seemed normal if not stronger. could he just have been "startled by lights out? i put him back on his vine and he seems ok right now...

Yup he probably just death dropped. He should be fine for 4ft and under drops. yea he got scared. Carpet chams do it all the time. If you see them, and they think you saw them, they drop right to the floor and scatter. Its really quite fun when you have alot of cages lined up :)

took a good look at him this morning, seems ok. he ate a couple phoenix worms. sheesh scared the bejeebies out of me.

Good luck, as soon ad you recover he will do some other crazy thing to scare you ha ha. That seems to be how they get their jollies :p

just checked during lunch, he does seem fine ate a couple phoenix worms.
i feel somewhat better.
