Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
Today I noticed her using her tongue to pick up and eat small pieces of soil from her Camilia plant. No pestisides and the plants soil was replaced with plain soil/no additives. I washed the plant very well before placing it in her cage.

After I noticed her doing it I took a piece of thick plastic with a tons of poked holes in it to fit in the pot covering the soil. I mounded the soil so the water would work its way down. I will head to town tomorrow to get some large smooth stones to cover the soil and remove the plastic. Plastic is just a fix until I can get to town tomorrow for her rocks.

Was the fix ok? Should I just remove her plant all together or leave as is until I get rocks?

She is healthy and active. She eats her crickets and drinks water from her leaves. Her colors seem relaxed and not dark. Basicly happy colors. I want to do everything I can to make sure she is safe and healthy along with comfertable and happy !!!

This is a picture of Milly a few minutes ago. Rest assured the wood you see on the side of the glass is mounted on the outside on both sides of her cage. :p

I think you and Milly are fine. The soil doesn't have anything that would hurt her, she is fine with the plastic until you get the rocks. I get my rocks at the dollar store. It sounds like you are just like the rest of us and want to make sure what you are doing is correct and it is.

I got her rocks to cover the soil. She is managing to shoot her skinny tongue between the rocks. lol. she is eating well with her morning feedings. Can veiled get inpacted bellies with plain soil?

cham's are have some means of breaking down bits of dirt and soil they may consume while eating, that being said eating soil directly on purpose needs to be fixed my male veiled did for a couple of days and needless to say I was worried... but until I fixed it with just some stones in the pot (not big enough to eat lol) I just presented him more chances to eat his actual food more and he seemed to pay less attention to the soil.
