mercury vapour lamps

I have been using exo-terras 160 watt solar glo on my large enclosure during the canadian winter. Now that summer is on the horizon i would like to downscale to 100-125 watts.(they get natural uvb throughout the week). has anyone used a uvb meter on the exoterra,zoo med or t-rex lamps. Any advice on frosted or non frosted etc. Thanx
