im getting a wooden viv for my yemen and i need uvb so i wanted to find out if mvb bulbs were any good. i have access to the arcadia bulbs.

I think MVBs are more for bearded dragon type reptiles than chameleons. They produce intense UVB and heat but as long as you set it up at the proper distance I don't see why you couldn't use it.

thanks for your info. im only looking around because i dont know how to instal flourescents in a wooden viv.

I've heard that MVB are either too hot for proper uvb, or don't give enough at a safe distance away. I'd stick to the linear uvb and regular basking.

heres a photo of it that i found online.
