Personally we've been using the Flukers, which we can highly recommend. The 100watt puts out about the same heat as a 50-60 watt basking spot bulb. I don't know why but it is not as hot as a 100watt basking bulb so it is safe for chameleons year round. Our experience tells us that the quality of the UVB and UVA rays is exceptional.
