My melleri "Sprite" stopped eating 2 days ago. He is also giving me a real tough time to even drink, which is VERY unusual for him. We also noticed tht for the last 4-5 days he has been hanging his left rear leg off of the branch. At first i thought he was just getting comfortable but now i'm not so sure. We thoroughly checked the leg and there doesn't seem to be any broken bones but when checking things out we did notice a very small boo boo on his left side. Not a cut, more like a small puncture. When he turns around he also seems like he is having a difficult time. I'm thinking maybe he might have fallen and hurt himself somehow. I'm actually lifting his side lip up and using an eye dropper, putting some fluids in him so he won't get dehydrated. I mentioned to my hubby that when he turned it was almost like his coordianation was off, i had to put my hand there to help him. With the holiday weekend there is not much i can do right now. Any ideas? Any body have an ex-ray machine handy?
