Meet WASABI!

He just arrived from Jann's loving home.
I named him "Wasabi."

I'm not a very good photog, so I asked husband and kids to do the honors.

He climbed right out of his little bag and onto my hand. So strong and healthy!

Thank you, Jann! So excited to watch him grow.

Thanks, guys! To be honest, veiled chams were not my favorite, and I always worried they were all mean.

I got him solely because he came from @jannb 's care.

I'm already head-over heels! He's so adorable!
Not that they are mean but when they are gowing through “teenage years” for them they can be a little more feisty. Mine currently is haha overall they are great companions

Fun news to report: This morning, while attempting to place a tiny horn worm onto Wasabi's FR, I noticed he got very excited, so I just held it in my hand and he took it!

I guess appetite won over fear. Not bad for the first morning!

Allot of the babies handfeed and cup feed for me here so it shouldn’t take to much effort for the new keep to get them hand and cup feeding in their new homes.

I put the supers in his cup yesterday. They were all gone this morning so I added more supers, crickets and a horn worm in the hand. He chowed everything!

I had forgotten what voracious eaters they are as babies! LOL!

Wasabi update: Action Photos!
(Ugh! I'm trying to upload a 10 sec video of him eating but I'm getting a "too large" msg. Any help?)

He is so cute. I take it you probably raise your own hornworms...I tried getting some online and by the time they got here they were almost as big as Lil Louie. Yes...I got a refund.;)
I think it was because all the snow in the East slowed things down because they were coming from New Jersey.
Wasabi is growing up. Tell him his Brother said hi.:ROFLMAO:

Actually, I got lucky... They guy I buy my worms from is right in NJ! I recently found him on eBay.

Normally all the babies are DOA, but I got some good ones. Also, we have Pet Goods in NJ. My local store carries HWs.

I can't get the videos uploaded but I put him on Bacha's(my singing dog) Instagram page: @bacha8372

Hi, L'il Louie!!
