Samson is the melleri we rescued last week. I wasn't sure he would make it this far, but he is doing awesome. He has gained 8 grams, so he is up to 128. My other melleri weighs 498, so he's got a way to go but he 's getting there slow but sure. The poor guy doesn't have an ounce of fat or muscle on him and when you hold him, if you were to blow on him, you'd probably blow him over. He doesn't seem to have any strength either. But everyday he is getting better and better. He is eating and drinking on his own and takes 2 showers daily. I know he still looks dehydrated but if you were to see him last week you'd be able to see the difference. He actually looks alot better in the pics than in person. If you look at the last pic, you can see a small glitter in his eye, and a small smile.
