Hi ever one.:D I bought some meal worms for my veiled, and I was wondering how many is to much. I was thinking a few a week for a treat. I’m all so wondering about the beetles do you need to worry about them like you do the worms or should I not even feed him the beetles? Thank for your help;)

Hi! :)
Kinda depends what else you are offering, and how much is being eaten overall each week. Generally, keep mealworms to about 20% of diet or less, because of the fat and chinton/digestability. If you are using lots of soft-bodied feeders, like silkworms, then offering a few more things like mealworms (or beetles) each week would be fine.

Thanks for the info. The link helped on what they need to eat. I try to feed him different kinds of bugs. He gets sick of them if I feed him to much of one kind. He is very picky:( I have Dubai Roaches, Crickets, Phoeix worms, ( he likes it when they are in fly form too:D) and Waxworm that I feed him. I do silk worms but the place I buy his bugs from is out of stock so when they get more I will get some. I’m still feeding him every day 5 good sized bugs or more if there little. He is still not full grown. They are gut loaded and dusted with what he needs for that day. I think I will try a few a week at the most. But not all at the same time and see how he does. Thanks again:)
