Mbd?

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I'd like to start off with a question. Is it possible that a chameleon gets MBD if proper UVB, gutloading, and supplementation is provided? Like some were just destined to get it because of genetics?

I'm just going to post information relevant to MBD:

Your Chameleon: Nosy Be, ~8 months old, had for 2 months.
My lighting: 36" dual T5HO 6% Arcadia bulbs
Cage: 6' tall.
Gutloading: crickets, dubia, and super worms gutloaded with bokchoy, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, radish greens, carrots, whatever other veggie scrap I have.
Supplementation: plain calcium by exo terra daily. D3 twice a month.

Current Problem: still has a very strong grip and can hang upside down, but his hands tremor while he's lifting it. It's not the leaf dance. Almost like shivering hands. It's almost like when people's, especially the elderly's, hand shakes when they're writing.

Is this MBD? If so, what caused it?

Probably not. There has been speculation that there could be an inherited tendency to MBD but I don't remember reading that it was confirmed. Personally I don't try to link one single possible symptom to MBD, I look for a pattern of decline and increasing number of symptoms over time. MBD gets the blame for a lot of unrelated symptoms IMHO, but remember that it is treatable if it does show up.

Thank you. Oddly enough, the shaking was really noticeable for about two days, and then it went away. He passed a "physical" at the vet's when I first got him two months ago.
