MBD and Broken Bones

My cham, James, obviously has broken bones and from my understanding there is little that can be done for this, I am positive he has MBD and has had it for a long time. Or at least that's what my vet has said, also he is stuck on liquid food, calcium (liquid medicine) supplement, and some kind of flax seed oil and corn oil. The vet also said that his kidneys are in a bad place, and the only intake of water he gets is the mixture in his liquid diet. I'm really worried and I'd like to nurse him back to help. If anyone has advice, that would be greatly appreciated. I am just terrified I'm going to lose my baby.

Do you mean he has recent fractures that have not healed? They will eventually if his diet has improved and he's getting the correct mineral/vitamin balance. You can keep the MBD from progressing, but it won't necessarily correct the damage already done.
What's the liquid food he is getting?
Why is he getting flax seed oil and corn oil???
Won't or can't he try to eat any insects at all? You can make him a better diet using insects...look for the forum sticky about making "bug juice". Basically it is a liquid slurry made by squeezing feeder insects and mixing with liquid.
Won't or can't he drink water on his own? How do you offer water now?
Does he have the correct types of lighting now? What brands of lighting?

They look like they are broken. His arms are bent at a strange angle, but he still walks on them which worries me. I know it can't be completely fixed, I just want to know what I can do to help. I don't know what he's getting now, but I will ask the vet tomorrow when he goes in again. I think the vet said that it was for his kidneys or something, I don't remember right now because I'm worried. I should start taking notes when I go to the doctors.... But he can't eat without help. I take a small little pipet and let water drip on the very tip of his nose/mouth area because I really want to avoid force feeding him water. I have no choice with his medicine. He has two lights, a heating light and a zoomed uvb lamp I believe. I would also like to note that he's a pet store baby.... which is probably why it's so advanced and it's partially my fault because I just don't know everything about chameleons yet. I have read a few books and I've been reading posts here, even before I made an account.
