So I just got my new setup for my new high blue jackson chameleon.. and I was just wondering.. is the setup looking ok? Tomorrow I am going to buy a pothos and put it in a hanging basket in the far right corner in the back.. so then the cage will be really full.. is there any such thing as TOO much in a chameleons cage? hopefully not.. I'm trying to spoil him as much as possible<3 :D here are some pictures..

Thanks so much! :)

Oh wow! Ok so where would I get a ficus? Walmart Garden? :D thanks for the advice!

Hehe. Ficus can be found at Walmart, but i got mine at Lowes.
Go to lowes, home depot, walmart any of those really.. Ficus are awesome, but i just found a tree that is really good and my panther loves it, its called "schefflera" or something like that, Gold Capellas work nice, Pothos (otherwise known as Devils ivy) there are a lot of safe plants you can use, i just listed the ones i have found in Home Depot, Lowes, Etc. I got my plants for 20 bucks each! They are pretty big too, id say 4' 6" to 5' its nice.

Keep your eye out. I know walmart carries some nice plants.

Happy hunting

Also, i might recommend getting a Schefflera, because it seems to make more humidity (didnt know how to really word that any better) than a ficus does. IMO, Schefflera may be better because Jacksons thrive in higher humidity!

ywah goto walmart and look for their umbrella plants. Thats all i have in my enclosures plus a pothos. The umbrella is going to hold up alot better than the ficus imo. And they are cheap enuff got 2.5 ft ones from there for under 10.00

That IS a schefflera in the bottom picture. It is also called an umbrella plant. That's what I put in Rambo's home. It is very sturdy and very green. It seems to grow slowly and so far has been tolerant of a variety of conditions I've had it in. :)

Pothos are very good for humidity and very green when they're healthy. Plan on changing it out every couple of months or so. Keep one hanging in a window and one in his home. Then swap them when you think it starts looking puny or needing repotting. Very easy to propagate. Just break off a piece at a leaf joint, stick it down in the soil and water.
