maturity question

i know to wait to breed females until they are at least a year, but have heard of females become fertile as early as 6 months. my question is, even if you do not breed them, can/will a female veiled/panther produce eggs before a year old?

Depends how they're kept. Generally if kept at a lower temp they may never produce eggs and drastically expands their life time
