He seldom looks very white, part of that was mood from removing him and part was the flash. It's a big pic, so let me know and I'll edit and post as a link.

This is the one I talked about in my intro.

Very nice male! Sorry if it was mentioned in your intro, but do you have a female for him? Any baby plans?

Very nice. I haven't seen one of those in years. I had one long ago that was enormous named big red. I think those maroantsetra maybe are one of the biggest panthers.

Sadly, I've yet to have time to look for a girl for him. I mentioned his back story in my introduction, I was "kind of" swindled on this purchase.

I bought him at the Columbia Repticon show by a guy wearing a Florida Chameleons T-shirt. I almost passed on him, noticing a squinty eye. I was hoping it was just dehydration from the trip, and he was a locality that appealed to me that I had never seen in person. Turned out, he had an eye infection, URI, and LOADED with worms. I did a fecal and it was the most eggs I've ever seen. He's on the mend now, but after a call to Mike, Fl. Chams had no one representing their company at that show! I'm doing a little homework to figure out who the seller really was. He was at another guy's table, and I'm pretty close to being certain who that vendor was. From there, I think I can track the seller down.

Mike seemed to think he is w/c, and a valuable animal just for the locality and new genes. I just wanted a display animal for the shop that wasn't one reptile folks often see. Now that my vet bills an RX are approaching the purchase price, not to mention hours of getting food/fluids/meds in him, I am getting attached. He's feeding and drinking great now, but I might consider breeding or trading for another project. A few people I talked to have suggested that he needs to be bred. I'm not sure how uncommon maros are, or how he might stack up when he finishes growing/coloring up. Nor would I have any idea how to know I had a sure maro female, which would be half the puzzle. In other words, I have no idea what I'll wind up doing with this fella!
