Male Veiled size concern

I'm concerned about my male veiled. He's coming up on a year old July 19th (ish) and I'm worried he's not growing enough. He's just shy of 100 grams. Is he a runt? Am I worrying? He eats well... about 10 crickets per day or 3-4 hornworms per day.

hes sounds fine.

my guy was jus tunder 100 grams when he was turning a year old.

then he suddenly within 20 months.. put on over 30 grams.

as long as he eats fine, drinks fine, etc.. he is fine,

they grow at their own rates.

He eats well. Although I almost never see him drink. I'm a little concerned about that. His urate is typically a little yellow. The only time I see a completely white urate is when he eats hornworms. I've tried giving him showers and he wants nothing to do with them. He also HATES being misted although I do it about 3 times per day.

try misting more.

I found my guys drank more water when i started using a mistking system.

i also rarely see any of my guys drink.

cept for my montane species.

One of the Veileds I owned would only drink if water was shooting out of the top of his cage, via dripper or mister. He wouldn't drink until I set his mister on top of his screen cage, and sprayed it for 1-2 minutes. It stimulated him and gave him time to actually drink. I never once saw him drink from a leaf or anything like that. He liked the movement of the water, and your Veiled might be the same way. So try some of the methods listed above. Good drainage is imperative for Veileds picky about their water. :)

Edit: he would drink from the dripper but didn't as hydrated as he did with the mister. I thought I would throw that out there. You could use a temporary dripper, while purchasing a mister. The both work, but the mister gets the job done IMO.
