Male veiled not eating

Hi everyone

I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. I have male veiled 15 months old.

He's not eaten for 5 days now. I now in the winter he tends to eat a lot less but 5 days with nothing seems too much. He appears healthy, hydrated and coloring hasn't changed particularly.

How long, is too long?

He usually eats 1 small adult locust a day and a few worms here and there.

Hunger strikes are normal, but 5 days would raise a flag with me as well. Are the Locust wild caught? My point on that is parasite load in the Locust...but in all reality parasites can be prevalent in store bought feeders as well. I think you should have a fecal done. He may have some protozoa that's making him feel lousy. Protozoa can also screw with his natural digestive cycle which may in turn be the reason for the sudden hunger strike. Can you post any pictures of him? What is your supplementing routine?

How are the temps in the cage? My guy stopped eating for a bit and I realized my temps were off. Fixed them and he is back to normal.
