my male chameleon is super skinny and he is not eatting anything at all. he is also really aggressive and strikes at anything near him. i put crickets mealworm kingworms even a fuzy and he sitll wouldnt eat it. it is about 5 inch with tail curled up

4ft by 6 ft mesh cage

i do not know what kind of trees are in there but i got it from costco

temp 75-82 day
65-70 night
88 basketing temp mercury vapor lamp by zoomed 160 watts with a ceramic 150 watt lamp

75% humidity
fogger and dripper

Temps are too low, and I believe humidity is too high, wait for others to chime in about the humidity but i know the temps are too low, aggresiveness is normal for veilds and fuzzy arent good for them at that age, even thogh he didnt eat it, try other foods such as silkworms hornworms etc.

I think your temps are okay.
I don't know what a "fuzzy" is.
Seriously ... you just bought some random plants from Costco and put them in your chameleon's enclosure??? It's probably okay ... but I would have done some research.
How is everything else?
drinking
eyes open
activity
?

He's most likely just fine, but a fecal and wellness check with your reptile veterinarian wouldn't hurt.

Well dont listen to me about temps, Brad IS the expert, I would do it warmer but I guess not, and Brad, a fuzzy is a juvenile mouse, a little bit older than a pinkie

I thought perhaps it was a mouse.

I am a student of chameleon husbandry, always learning and not an expert!
I think slightly warmer temperatures would work well, but I also think an 88 degree f. basking spot is sufficient.

More experience then me though:p

Can you post pictures of him please?

The plants/trees should be non-toxic because veileds will nibble on them. They should be well-washed (both sides of the leaves) before being put in the cage too.

(Not really likely to do with his not eating, but...do you dust the insects? Gutload the insects)

i picked up a small fuzzy and dangled it in his face and he striked at it and took a bite and ate it, and i also did the same with some kingworm and he ate that as well.....it seems like he is lazy to go eat it in his dish...yeah i dusted all his cricket before and kingworm mealworm. i tried getting silkworm but its not in season so my petshop doesnt carry it. and i found out what plant is in there... its this chinese lucky money tree

Good luck!

You need to remove the ceramic heat "lamp" it isn't a lamp... its just a heating coil. You need to provide some UVA to make him want to eat and feel 'happy' or 'good'. UVA promotes good stuff. I would also maybe think of getting rid of the MV lamp and change it over to a Reptisun 5.0. The 5.0 and normal household lamp for basking seem to be a proven success.

i got rid of the money tree and got a ficus at home depot and my vet recommonded the MV lamp over the 5.0 so i dunno... and without the heating coil it isnt hot enough in the cage, but i'll get the 5.0 also and try that.....but yeah i dangle stuff infront of him and he started to stike at it and if he bites it he eats it so i been feeding him for these couple of day like this cause he hasnt ate in like a week or so....

Are you dusting the insects with proper supplements?
Do you have a substrate in the cage?
Is he pooping?
Can you post a picture?

most of us on here to have the best results with reptisun 5.0 tube florescents (not the colied ones that plug into a reg socket, you DO NOT want to use those for chams- maybe your vet wanted you to get rid of that?)

also, there has been some discussion of it but you may want to avoid mice and mealworms those can be hard on your cham's digestive system, I am only speaking from what others have said on here many times ove r and over ;p

i got change my lights to reptisun 5.0 got 2 of them a week ago... too busy setting the cage up so i didnt reply back, but today my male cham is on the ground looking like he's about to die....i dont think he will make it.
