My 8 month old male chameleon is avidly wondering around the bottom of his cage, I was just wondering if this behavior could be explained or if it's just him being curious.
And I mean considering he's so young, the tell tale sings of a Male are pretty subtle so the paranoia in me is thinking that hes a she looking for somewhere to lay her clutch. The probability of such is very slim to none considering his size, coloring, and behavioral habits - but I digress.
I thought it could be a temp issue but the gradient is fine for a sub adult male. It starts around 82°F at the very top and dropping to about 75 near the bottom of his enclosure.
