My 9 month old male veils Chameleon made some sounds today almost like he was barking. He also seemed very restless. He was moving much quicker around the enclosure than normal. I checked the humidity and temps. Humidity was 46 at the top and 74 at the bottom. Temp at the top was 82, and 73 at the bottom. His enclosure is 21”x21”x48”. This is the first time I have ever heard this noise from him. He did this several time for about an hour. Then it stopped and he seemed to go back to his normal behavior. Is this mating behavior? Will he look for a mate even if there is not a female anywhere near him?
