Male Panther at ? Age

At what age should a male Panther Chameleon jump into a 24x24x48 cage?

Around 6 months or so in my opinion. Or when you think they are big enough and capable enough to hunt in a bigger cage and get around it effectively.

I have 10.0 uvb blubs already. Would that be way to much for a cham?

i use a 100w basking bulb and a 26w 10.0 uvb light for my 4month panther cham
and it works well.. the 100w basking bulb seems a bit too hot though, I had to move mine a bit, 50-75w for basking in my opinion incase you were wondering

Just make sure to have hiding areas if using 10.0 bulbs. Keep closest branch at least 12" away. A UVB meter would be a good investment if using the 10.0, also.
