i bout this veiled at PetSmart and it was supposed to be a male l, but some people say female I would love to know for sure..

I would say female. Can you get some closer shots of the back feet. Males will have a bump on the back of the back feet called a spur.

That little bump, that you can see really well in the first pic, is called a spur. Males Veileds are born with them making them pretty easy to sex right out of the egg if you know what to look for. Females don't have spurs.
