MALE Carpet Cant retract Penis

I feel bad for this little guy. Has anyone seen this before? I have an approx 12 week old male Chameleon CB. He mounted my female a few weeks ago. she was VERY receptive/fired up to see him.Vice Versa. He stayed mounted for a good 20 mins. She twisted & turned at times .
After that incident a week or so later, I noticed what looked like a brown scab at his vent. Thought maybe it was a turd. No it wasnt. Its still there. looks like a foreskin type of thing.* Now he was excited to see her yesterday after put the cages side by side. His penis appeared to be 1/2 way out like A Tumor. Then it fully protruded ,and he hung on screen all day near her watching her in her own cage. By late last nite it was stuck in the outward position with blood on it . I washed him today with warm h20.(gentle spray) He seems to not be able to retract his penis now. Can anyone help/anyone seen this be4 ? I googled like mad & searched sites/my books :NO Info on it to find. Id appreciate any suggests /input /ideas. A safe wash?( I have a call into herp vet to see Monday.) thansk alot. Chuck

I think its called a hemp. prolapse when they cant retract it.

The best thing to do is keep it moist, I think your suppose to use ky jelly :/
thats suppose to help it go back in and make sure it doesnt dry out.

as for the blood I have no clue maybe he scrtached it on a vine?

But yea until you vet appointment id keep it lubed up when it does pop out.

Hopefully more experienced ppl with that stuff will chime in

You need to get to a vet right away. If their hemis dry up you could have more serious problems. Plus the tissue is soft and can damage quick and easily so it is best not to waste time getting to the vet. In the mean time you need to keep ky jelly on it and sugar water. This will help keep it moist and sometimes they can bring their stuff back inside.
