Hey everyone my female ambilobe is receptive again but I can't get my male to mate with her. When I show them to each other she just stares at him and sometimes starts to walk slowly away from him but never darkens or gapes. However my male will fire up and do the typical I'm pissed off stuff like puff out his neck and elongate his body to appear bigger and do the ninja hand pose. I've tried introducing him to her cage her to his cage and freeranging in and outdoors. On Friday he was acting really weird and looked like he was gunna EAT her! Yes I said EAT her! Lol he was walking toward her opening his mouth with his tongue starting to come out like he was going to shoot at her! My bf quickly put his hand up to prevent him from shooting her with the tongue but all he did was try to go around his hand to get to her like he hadnt eaten in a week and she was a big juicy silkworm lol so we had to separate them. Anyone have any advice? We are considering giving up on his breeding ability and thinking about getting another male soon
