It was beautiful here in FL today and Luie really enjoyed some outside time just hanging out in his tree and catching a few rays.

He's a gorgeous boy! They love the sun, don't they?! Tommy isn't looking his best at the moment, bless him - he's shedding various different bits! This morning he looked like he had a sticky plaster hanging off his knees, lol!:D

Well done Jann and Luie!:D He would still look amazing no matter how big or small he is! I know how hard it is not to overfeed when it's obvious how much they love their food, lol!

Nice pictures, Jann. But shame on you for showing off your beautiful weather. There are some of us that are still wet and freezing. [kidding of course...]

Luie has loss some weight. His vet wanted him to loose down from 232 to 220 and he was 218 today so he got to have a superworm for a snack. :D

I want to start keeping track of spikes weight as well, how much should he weigh around for his age? what do you use for a scale?

At one year Luie weighed 160 grams.....he grew untill at least 18 months old. At 18 months he weighed 190 grams and just got fat after that. :)

I got my scales on eBay but WalMart has scales that will weigh grams. Look in the kitchen section.....they are used to weigh food and cost about $20.00.

This one is similar to mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/Digital-Food-Bo...all_Kitchen_Appliances_US?hash=item19b2d22482

Thanks for the compliment!

I've had Luie since he was 7 months old and he'll be 3 next month. My husband purchased him as a surprise for me from our local PetSmart. I'd helped my daughter with her chams for several years but had never had one of my own.

My chams are never outside unattended. We always stay outside and keep a close eye on them.

Jann, you and Luie are sooo lucky to be getting such great weather. I am sure your daughter has let you know that we are stilllllllll cold her in Georgia. Me and the chams have cabin fever. NEED SUNLIGHT!

Great pics of Luie, he looks blissfully happy in his pics. I agree, you should enter one of those in the photo contest. :D He`s such a handsome boy.

Of course i`m not jealous of your weather at all as i live in sunny England *coughs*

:)Well Jann, you probably know that I'm no calyptratus lover but your pics are high about the rest here ! Those are calyptratus pics which I'd like to see more often here. Great !

Luie seems made to pose for those profile shots, but I really like the head-on one. Handsome fellow!
Sorry, Reptimom, I just can't be too sympathetic when it comes to Chilly Georgia Temperatures. The best we've been able to do yet this year is sit inside an open door in a bit of cold sunlight.
