Loquats

I have a big tree in the yard. Anybody ever use them in gutload?

And before anyone asks, not fertilized or treated with pesticides.

They are in the apple family so you would want to avoid the seeds as the likely have cyanogenic compounds. The flesh of a ripe loquat is so soft it would be hard to feed to crickets though. They tend to rot very easily.
