I have been doing some research and it looks like I will be purchasing the following:
Zilla Fresh air screen habitat with all appropriate branches & leaves
Zoo med repti sun terrarium hood
Zoo med dome fixture 8.5in
Zoo med repti sun uvb 5.0
Zoo med blue day bulb 100w??? 60w???
Mist king ultimate system
Temperature & humidity guages
Herptivite Multivitamin Supplement
Rep-Cal Calcium w/ D3

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

What size screen habitat are you getting? You might also consider getting live plants, such as Schefflera, pothos (Epipremnum), and Ficus benjamina; they'll help with humidity maintenance and with a green food source (esp. the pothos); at least, some chams really like their greens! ;)

You'll also need Calcium with NO D3; feeding D3 all the time is too much and can cause problems, so you need to feed plain calcium most of the time and Calcium with D3 only about every two weeks. See care sheet and feeding guide below for more information.

There's a great care sheet about panther chameleons and their habitat, feeding, and other husbandry needs here:

https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/panther/

Also, here's a lot of information on feeders for them, with a good explanation of the calcium needs--scroll down and you'll see it:

This sounds exciting!! I look forward to seeing your set-up and your chameleon when you get it!

Good luck! Sandy

One of the 2 smaller zillas for now prob 12x24x26 then eventually upgrading to adult cage...ok great i will look into the live plants and the plain calcium thanks

Sounds exactly like a question I asked about a week ago. I'm right where you are. lol

Don't forget a calcium supplement WITHOUT D3 as well. They're only supposed to get the one WITH D3 twice a month. The one WITHOUT D3 is daily.

Edit: We were replying at the same time, lol

LOL! It happens; in this case, two of us posting on that info will help Swordfish9921 realize that it's very important! Good for you!

Also would there be anywhere possible online to reccomend live plants for chams just always worried about chemicals if store or nursery bought??

Hmmm . . . if you google "organic garden nursery" a bunch come up. Some of them won't ship, but there might be one located near you. As I don't know where you are, I can't help you as effectively as you could help yourself on this one--sorry!

Good luck!

As far as the plants go:Scheflera ,Pothos Ficus tree, is what I
