Looking to buy an incubator?

This will be my first incubator that I will be buying. I certainly do not need a $500 or $600 incubator. I have been looking a three models and wondering if anyone had comments on them. If you have another one in mind please share. I would not mind spending up to around $300 for one but this not my job and really do not want to spend that much.

There are several breeders that rig up wine coolers with a t-stat. Try using the search bar for further info. You can also try messaging Texas Ranger.

You can make one cheep out of a mini fridge, cooler and several other things. I would not buy one with a fan but that is just IMHO. I was going to buy a Hova Bator but without the fan and did this instead.

Many like the fans but I do not. You need to do your homework and make your own decision, ask others who breed them for more ideas. There are many breeders that just use a closet and no incubator at all.

I incubate all our eggs in the closet. At a temp of 70 - 78 degrees they hatch in 6 to 8 months
