So Jose is getting too big for his brand new 18x18x18 cage, I had a feeling it wouldnt last long...

So I'm looking for a new cage. I want a cheap one though seeing as I only have 240$.

Also with that I'm looking for an auto mister, light timer, something to help me with humidity, and a lamp stand because I can't have the lights on the top of the cage anymore lol...

Anyone know where I can find these but within a budget of 240?

Hardly, but If you watch, people on here and CL they sometimes have cage items. Got my cage on CL for 35$ misters if you only have 1 cham is pointless. Don't get a hand bottle, get a actual pump squirter. Humidity, I covered the back and 1 side up with Aquarium cing, helps. Also have my lamp clamped onto a pole lamp, works well. Bad thing, its roughly gonna calculate into more than 240$... even if you don't shop online.

The mistking starter system is $99 + shipping, which might come out to $120?
DIY cages has a 2'x2'x4' cage for $99 shipped - http://www.diycages.com/15201/15243.html
You'd still have about $20 for a cheap timer and a lamp clamp or something like that. You can find these at any home improvement store for a few dollars.

I think you can definitely buy everything new with your budget. However, keep an eye out for used supplies which you may be able to use. Also, an alternative to buying a cage is building your own, it may not cost you more than $50 if you're handy.

^ cage is best around for that price and size. I'm not a huge fan of Mistking, maybe I have to much time. But I get the job done with a hand pump. Plus the extra money goes on treats.

You know, when I had only 1-2 chameleons, I would have agreed with you. I finally got one when I had 4 chameleons and I regret actually not having gotten it originally. Now I think if I started over again one of the first things I'd buy would be an automatic mister! lol It's just my opinion, but I feel like it made life way more routine than depending on me to be home to mist at the same time every day, and I could mist much longer. Now they get 45 minutes of water, where before it was uncomfortable rigging the pump to mist for 10-15 minutes.

It is a lot of money for something that sprays water, but it's worth it if your day is all over the place, like me as a student. Also, it means I can leave for the weekend and not worry about having someone come to take care of them, their set-up is automatic.

^LOL I sooo hate you. I think you convinced me to buy my cham a Christmas gift! Ahhhhh!!!!!!! Relapse!
